Les Groves Water Park

So we braved going back to the Auburn water park after Presley's accident last year with the burns. The kids had a really good time. We meet my friend Michelle and her two kids. I had Leo today, and Kristin Leo's mom came and meet us for lunch. The kiddo's were all exhausted. They took long naps this afternoon!!! Presley had a little bit of a tantrum while we were there. The girl can pout!

Sunday Evening @ Brown's Pointe with Papa & Nono

Sunday evening we went up to my parent's (papa & nono) house for dinner. It was such a nice evening, my dad recommended that we go down to Light House Beach in Browns Pointe. The kids threw rocks in the water and looked for bugs. It was so relaxing!

First Day in Chicago!

We arrived in Chicago at around 4:30. We headed to our hotel, got ready and headed off to see the play WICKED! It was such a good play, and very funny. It is probably my second favorite play. The first being The Lion King. If this play comes to Seattle I am for sure going to see it again.

Day Two in Chicago!

Wow, Chicago has some awesome stores. Our hotel ,The Conrad Hilton, was on the Magnificent Mile (yes over one mile of every store you could think of). I had so much fun looking at the high end stores Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Escada, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Bloomingdales etc.... But enjoyed shopping in H & M, Felines Basement, Nordstrom, Macys, XX1 Forever and more. That evening we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. That was fun. We then headed back to our hotel were they had a nice Garden Terrace on top of the hotel. Each night we enjoyed cocktails here and enjoyed the nice view.

Day Three Chicago

Day Three in Chicago was another fun day of shopping! When Pat finished the day at the convention we had lunch at the Ralph Lauren Restaurant. I believe it might be their only restaurant. They had good food and it was a nice atmosphere. Pat and I then headed to the American Girl flagship store and shopped for Presley. Pat said he has never seen so many little girls carrying around their dolls, they were all so cute and had the biggest smiles on their faces. We shopped at a Lego store and Disney store for Ethan. That evening we meet the group at Maggianos Italian Restaurant. That was really good too. I stuffed myself. We then walked across town and went to the Cheesecake Factory for cocktails and dessert. I will definitely need to get back on track with a healthier diet now that I am home!

Day Four Chicago

Day four in Chicago was the best day. I started the day off with shopping, when Pat was done with the convention we meet and headed on an architectural boat tour. It was an amazing tour and we learned a lot about the city and the different buildings. The tour lasted two hours. We then ate lunch at an authentic Chicago pizza place! Pizza Uno was YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then we hailed a taxi and headed to Wrigley field to watch a baseball game between the Cubs and Orioles. Even though they lost it was exciting being at one of the oldest stadiums in the USA. Even though I am a Mariner fan. The Cubs fans are great and very enthusiastic!

Presley's First Hair Cut

I took Presley in for her first haircut today! We went to this really cute place in Covington called Monkey Dooz! She did a really good job at staying still for the hair stylist. Ethan also received a haircut today. When we left they both looked like punk rockers. Ethan has green hair and on the tips of Presley's pig tails are hot pink with silver glitter. The pictures turned out a little bit blurry for some reason.
